Operating Procedures For Cutting Machines

1、 Preparation before cutting
(1) Before use, the performance of the equipment must be carefully checked to ensure the integrity of all components.
(2) Conduct a detailed inspection of the tightness of the power switch, saw blade, saw blade cover or safety baffle, and ensure that the operating platform is stable. There should be sufficient lighting brightness during nighttime operations.
(3) Before use, first turn on the main switch and perform a few turns without load. Only after confirming safety and error can it be allowed to start.
(4) Before operation, it is necessary to check whether the power supply matches the conventional rated 220VA voltage on the electric tool to avoid being wrongly connected to the 380VA power supply.
2、 Cutting precautions
(1) When working on a cutting machine, it is necessary to be fully focused, not only to maintain a clear mind, but also to operate electric tools rationally. It is strictly prohibited to operate the cutting machine after being tired, drunk, or taking stimulants or drugs.
(2) The power line must be safe and reliable, and unauthorized pulling is strictly prohibited. Be careful when placing the power line, and do not cut it off. Before use, the performance of the equipment must be carefully checked to ensure that all components are in good condition.
(3) Wear suitable work clothes, do not wear overly loose work clothes, and do not wear jewelry or long hair. It is strictly prohibited to wear gloves and operate without cuffs.
(4) The processed workpiece must be firmly clamped, and it is strictly prohibited to start cutting when the workpiece is not tightly clamped.
(5) It is strictly prohibited to polish the burrs on the grinding wheel surface to prevent the grinding wheel from breaking.
(6) When cutting, the operator must deviate from the front of the grinding wheel and wear protective glasses.
(7) It is strictly prohibited to use damaged grinding wheels. During cutting, sparks should be prevented from splashing and flammable and explosive materials should be kept away.
(8) When clamping the workpiece, the clamping should be stable and firm, and the protective cover must be installed correctly. After clamping, the machine should be turned on and idle for inspection, and there should be no shaking or abnormal noise.
(9) When replacing a new cutting blade or grinding wheel midway, do not use too much force on the locking nut to prevent accidents caused by the saw blade or grinding wheel breaking.
(10) It is necessary to firmly hold the cutting machine handle and apply even force vertically to cut, and the fixed end must be firm and reliable.
(11) Do not attempt to cut small unclamped workpieces or profiles with severe edges.
(12) In order to improve work efficiency. Before sawing single or multiple pieces together, it is necessary to do a good job of auxiliary clamping and positioning work.
(13) Do not perform strong sawing operations. Wait until the motor speed reaches full speed before cutting.
(14) No one is allowed to stand behind the saw. When there is a power outage, resting, or leaving the workplace, the power should be immediately cut off.
(15) Do not release any hand or lift an arm from the saw or workpiece before the saw blade stops.
(16) Do not operate the cover when it is not in place, and do not place your hands within 15 centimeters of the saw blade. Do not lean over or around the saw machine, and it is advisable to tilt your body at a 45 degree angle during operation.
(17) If there is abnormal sound, the inspection should be stopped immediately; Before repairing or replacing accessories, the power must be cut off and the saw blade must be completely stopped.
(18) When using a cutting machine to work in a damp place, it is necessary to stand on an insulating mat or dry wooden board. Safety measures must be taken when climbing or using in hazardous areas such as explosion-proof areas.
(19) If the equipment experiences shaking or other malfunctions, it should be immediately shut down for repair. It is strictly prohibited to work with illness, doping, or alcohol. It is strictly prohibited to wear gloves during operation. If dust can be caused during operation, wear a mask or face mask.
(20) After processing, the power should be turned off and the equipment and surrounding area should be cleaned properly.
