Instructions for using the cutting machine

1. After the installation of the cutting machine is completed, turn on the power to check whether all parts of the machine rotate flexibly and whether all fasteners are loose.
2. Turn on the power, press the host button, and check if the blade rotation is consistent with the arrow direction. If it is reversed, immediately adjust it. After the inspection is completed, the rock sample can be clamped for cutting. When clamping the rock sample, reliable clamping points should be selected to prevent virtual and false clamping phenomena. To avoid damaging the cutting tool and rock sample due to rock movement during the cutting process.
3. When clamping irregular rocks, the top pressure method can be used for clamping. Clamping steps: First, place rock sample 8 flat on the workbench, then insert the top pressure moving fixture 10 along the T-shaped groove 3, select the distance between the fixture and the rock sample, lock the fixture base screw, move the top rod bolt 13 up and down to select a reliable clamping point, then lock the top rod moving nut 11, and then rotate the top rod until the top rod locks the rock sample. At the same time, tighten the top rod nut 12 to prevent the top rod from loosening during the cutting process.
4. When cutting core samples, if there are a large number of rocks, a random long pressure plate can be used to press several rock samples together to improve work efficiency. The clamping method is as follows: place rock sample 8 flat on workbench 6, insert the pressure plate bolt along T-groove 3, and insert one end of the long pressure plate 9 into the square hole of the vertical surface of the workbench. Rotate the adjusting screw 7 and the nut 10 of the pressure plate bolt to tighten the rock sample. If the diameter of the core sample has a slight error, A thin strip of wood can be added to the rock sample to allow the long pressing plate to press onto the rock sample. This method is also applied when clamping and cutting rectangular and cubic rock samples.
5. When working, start the main motor first, and then press the cutting button. When cutting, due to the irregular shape of the rock, the cutting speed needs to be slow. After all the blade blades enter the rock sample, it can be slightly faster.
6. The cutting machine automatically advances and retracts the knife. When the knife moves along the workbench to the end, it can automatically retract to the starting end and stop moving. If you need to step back during work, press the fast rewind button on the console. In fast rewind, it is necessary to move forward, and pressing the work feed button can also feed. Regardless of whether the cutting tool is in or out, pressing the stop button can stop the cutting tool from moving. When working, if you find that the cutting blade is far away from the rock sample, you can press the fast forward button (hold it down) or jog the fast forward button. When the blade approaches the rock sample, release the button. Then press the work button again to perform normal cutting. This can shorten the feeding assistance time.
7. When cutting the test piece, the feed speed can be adjusted according to the rock hardness before working, and there may be knife marks when adjusting the feed speed during cutting. When cutting hard stones according to the use experience, the speed is generally about 40mm/min.
